OmniIntel
OmniIntel is a private intelligence workspace that helps users collect, organize, monitor and review business, technology, cybersecurity, market and research information from selected publishers and newsletters.
What OmniIntel does
OmniIntel gathers published intelligence into one workspace so an invited team can follow sources, search the corpus, save items, and review what changed. It is an internal product for people who already have access, not a public news site.
Who it is for
OmniIntel is for invited members of a private workspace. Sign-in is required to use the application. These public pages exist so anyone — including Google's OAuth review — can read what the product is and how it handles data, without an account.
How intelligence is acquired
OmniIntel can acquire intelligence from two existing paths:
- Direct publisher feeds, where a source publishes RSS, Atom, JSON Feed or similar endpoints that OmniIntel polls.
- Newsletters from a user-connected Gmail account, processed only as part of the configured newsletter-ingestion workflow.
Why OmniIntel requests Gmail access
Some publishers send intelligence by email rather than by a public feed. When an authorized administrator explicitly connects a Gmail mailbox, OmniIntel reads messages that carry the workspace newsletter label so those issues can be parsed into the same intelligence corpus as feed items.
Gmail access is read-only. OmniIntel currently requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly. It does not request permission to send mail, and connecting Gmail is never automatic: an administrator starts Google's consent screen from Admin → Gmail and must approve access.
Only the configured newsletter-ingestion workflow uses Gmail data. Messages are selected by the workspace newsletter label (by default OmniIntel/Newsletters), not by scanning the entire mailbox for unrelated mail.
How to disconnect Gmail
An authorized administrator can disconnect the mailbox from Admin → Gmail. Disconnecting deletes stored OAuth credentials so OmniIntel can no longer call the Gmail API for that account. Previously ingested intelligence is not automatically erased; see the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion.
